GERMAN IMMERSION DAY is THIS Saturday, March 13th, 2010.

This is an excellent opportunity for you to practice your German, eat
good German food and meet
people! We have booked a house in Purcell's cove for the day! Sign-up forms will
be available this week in the German Department in The McCain
Building, 3rd floor.

Don't worry if you can't stay for the whole day, drop ins are more than welcome!
Please fill out the registration form and submit to German Department!

When: Saturday, March 13th, 2010, 12 PM - Midnight
Where: Purcell's Cove (Exact address will be available asap, as well as bus
routes and details on car pooling).
Cost: $10 per person (all inclusive, two meals in addition to other things!)

Music Society Open Mic at the T-Room!

The Society of Dalhousie Music Students is hosting an open mic in support of Shoes for Souls. Shoes for Souls is a non profit organization that was started to create awareness of the stigmatism that is attached to the AIDS/HIV virus. This includes a shoe drive from December 2009 to June 2010, with a goal of 4000 pairs of shoes to be collected. The current count of shoes is over 700!

Cover is $5.00, but if you donate a pair of shoes, IT'S FREE!!

Sign up sheet will be in the music lounge, but if you are a non-SDMS member, just email sdms@dal.ca if you want to perform! There will be a keyboard there for anyone wanting to play piano.
